Who we are

About the clinic

A two-practitioner clinic in Derby. Small on purpose — it is the only way to keep the same person treating you every visit.

Why the clinic exists

A significant share of our work is correcting treatments done somewhere else, usually somewhere that treated a face as a list of areas to fill. We built this clinic around the opposite idea: assess the whole face, do less than the client expects, and say no when no is the right answer. Everything else — the pricing on the website, the free two-week reviews, the patch tests nobody skips — follows from that.

The practitioners

Tara Mohammed

Tara Mohammed

Advanced Aesthetics Practitioner

7 years in practice

At the heart of Tara's practice is a commitment to refined, personalised aesthetic treatments with the highest standards of professionalism, education and client care. Her path here was a long one, and deliberately so: three years of law studies in Norway, then professional qualifications in translation and interpreting — where the communication, integrity and attention to detail that still shape her work were formed. She trained in aesthetics from the ground up, from Level 3 beauty therapy at Derby College through VTCT Level 4 and Level 5 in aesthetic practice to a Level 7 diploma in aesthetics and skin boosters, and has since studied skincare through Harvard Medical School. Alongside the clinic she is completing the final year of a business management degree. Her philosophy is simple: natural, elegant results that enhance confidence while respecting each client's own features — and every treatment begins with a thoughtful consultation and a bespoke plan.

How we work

Consultation first

No injectable treatment is carried out on a first visit without a face-to-face assessment.

Patch tests, always

Laser and peel clients are patch tested at least 48 hours before a first full session. This is never waived.

Written plans

You leave a consultation with your plan and its cost in writing, so you can think about it away from the clinic.

Two-week reviews

Injectable clients are seen again after two weeks at no charge, to check the result and adjust if needed.
